Most of Erich Kästner's estate is in the German Literature Archive in Marbach, which has agreed to provide the Erich Kästner Museum Dresden with material on the themes of the Erich Kästner Museum, where this is permitted by copyright laws. The Erich Kästner Kinderdorf in Oberschwarzach presented the Erich Kästner Museum with a suit from the estate of Kästner's partner, Luiselotte Enderle, and have given the museum a typewriter and a hat as long-term loans.
